Privacy policy
This policy explains what information NEXTU collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address or phone number, and profile photo if you sign in with Google.
- Study preferences: the exam and subjects you choose during onboarding.
- Learning activity: batches you join, test answers and scores, and doubts you post (including any images or PDFs you attach).
- Payments: order and payment identifiers, amount and status received from Razorpay. NEXTU never sees or stores your card, UPI PIN or bank login.
- Educator applications: the bio, subjects and experience you submit when applying to teach.
- Device tokens: if you allow notifications in the app, a push token to send you updates about new lessons and answered doubts.
How we use it
- To run your account and give you access to the batches you've enrolled in.
- To process and verify payments and to calculate educator earnings.
- To let your educator see your enrolment, test results and doubts for their batch.
- To send service notifications such as new lessons or answered doubts.
- To keep NEXTU secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see your information
Your educator can see information related to their batch. NEXTU administrators can access data where needed to support you, review educators and reconcile payments. We use Google Firebase (hosting, authentication, database and file storage) and Razorpay (payments) to provide the service.
Security
Access to lessons, attachments and records is checked on our servers for every request. Paid content is never shared through public links.
Your choices
You can update your name in Settings. To request a copy or deletion of your data, contact us at nextu.live@gmail.com. Some payment records must be retained to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Children
Many NEXTU students are under 18. If you are under 18, please use NEXTU with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, who should review this policy with you.
Changes
We will update this page if this policy changes and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
